This was not two young centre-backs losing their nerve. It was a team with no defensive block and no final-third structure discovering that a two-goal lead is not something it can currently hold. The problem sat upstream of Yoro and Heaven all night.
Brighton won possession eight times in our final third before half-time, the most by an opponent in a first half since Fulham in November 2022. That is a build-up and pressing-structure failure, and it happened in the half we were supposedly controlling.
